Why give 2 weeks to 2 charities?
Why?
Skills to stretch further:
There is a surprising amount of relevance to our skills in the third sector. Some of the techniques and ways we tackle challenges are applicable to charities, for example: Moments of Truth, Business Model Innovation, Parallel Worlds. Whilst commercial and charity sectors might feel poles apart, they are all aiming to appeal to people, as well as generate funds.
Curious minds:
We are naturally excited to get to know a new organisation and specialism. With any challenge, you can begin as a novice, and end feeling like an expert. New challenges in new worlds keeps us evolving and learning, as well as bringing our decades of experience and perspectives.
Commitment to kindness:
One of our principles at Studio Every is to ‘recognise when we have enough’. We are keen to maintain this balance and in doing so, show it, not just say it, and commit time for others. We are happy to shift our attention to organisations that can benefit from our minds. Bringing clarity to challenges that would benefit from fresh perspectives.
Why Blood Cancer UK & Caring in Bristol?
We specifically set out to identify charities we could support who had personal importance, and geographical significance.
We are delighted to have formed new partnerships that do good.
Blood Cancer UK:
We explored with Blood Cancer UK how to get the most value from product fundraising and to support the innovation framework further, with new methods and tools to enable decision making.
Caring in Bristol:
We delivered with Caring in Bristol, a 3-year strategy to significantly increase corporate partnerships, which will in turn, result in increased fundraising for the homeless prevention charity.
Our commitment to 2024?
We will be continuing to commit 2 weeks to 2 more charities. More to come in the new year.
