Milan Design Week Highlights

We explored Milan Design Week to inspire and energise with creativity.

Here are our highlights from the event.

Samsung : Newfound Equilibrium
Five installations envisioning the co-existence of technology and humans. Each scene aimed to tell a nuance of the evolutionary relationship between people and technology.

IKEA : 1st
The IKEA ‘playground’ showcased products and experiences that address leaving home for the first time. The exhibition displayed old and new products, as well as future visions from students from around the world.

Nespresso Pop-up : Paper Worlds
Nespresso created a pop-up to celebrate the launch of their pulp coffee capsules, which have been in the works for three years.

To mark the moment, the 'Paper Worlds' installation designed by Studio Ossidiana, shared the product and tasting in the Brera district.

SuperDesign Show - Melior Design : Table to Table

A Zero-Waste Circular Agriculture system, addressing global issues.

The concept tackles the key environmental challenges of our day, from water scarcity and food waste, to ocean pollution and CO2 emissions.

Bosco Verticale
We couldn’t make a trip to Milan without visiting the Bosco Verticale (vertical forest). The high-rise tower block is layered with trees, shrubs and plants on an epic scale. The biological habitat towers over the Porta Nuova district of Milan.
